"No one is down here for being a good person." Memorize this quote, because it's the exact description of what you will find in the Redux Complex.

Even before the outbreak, the Redux Complex was known as hell on earth. Puzzles everywhere, deathly defense systems, and now, a malfunctioning facility with several health risks.

Along the complex, you will face three types of enemies:

• The Cryptids: Mythological creatures with paranormal characteristics ready to kill everything that can move, unfortunately, you move.
• The inmates: Lethal psychopaths who share your objective of escaping but are not friendly with your goal of keeping yourself alive.
• The contention forces: swat units highly trained to eradicate any treat for the complex and solve any outbreak.

This game brings together a traditional single-player combat experience in a confined setting, reminiscent of titles like Half-Life or Doom, while also incorporating elements of the Metroidvania genre.

Additionally, exploration is encouraged, allowing players to uncover the rich lore embedded within the Redux Complex.

The player has access to various weapons; however, as they encounter more challenging enemies, it becomes clear that combat isn't always the best solution. Certain foes and puzzles may necessitate the use of specialized tools rather than relying solely on aggression.

• WASD/Left stick: movement.
• SHIFT/LS press: run.
• SPACE/South button: jump.
• E/West button: interact.
• F/Left Shoulder: flashlight.
• Mouse motion/Right stick: look.
• Left mouse button/Right trigger: primary fire.
• Right mouse button/Left trigger: secondary fire.
• TAB/Select: inventory. (not ready)
• Arrows/D-Pad: change weapon.
• CTRL: crouch.
• ESC/Start: pause.
